Design concept:
9 buildings in the new Mevaseret neighborhood, which include public spaces on the ground floor, entrance foyers and upper floor public spaces.
We were asked to design for a mixed population: young and old. Secular and religious.
The design challenge is to infuse a modern and contemporary urban experience into entrance halls with a touch of warmth, young and light.
We designed frames that delimit the spaces with accent lighting that direct the gaze and flow into the space. A composition combining vertical and horizontal lines of wooden ceilings made of green material and acoustic, black metal coverings that are combined with natural terrazzo covering and flooring.
The upper floor lobbies were designed in the same language as the entrance lobbies.
Frames that enclose the entrance doors to the apartments and elevator doors that are constructed in black metal. Highlighting the perimeter lighting: ceiling and wall matching the entrance floor that directs the view. and cladding and flooring colors matching the entrance floor.
